Hunting Patrol

"Nightfur, Berrypaw, would you like to go on a hunting patrol with me? The fresh kill pile is getting low." Moonstream said with a flick of her tail to the pile.

Apprenticeship of Foxpaw!

After searching everywhere for Scarstar, Moonstream finally gave up. "May all cats old enough to catch their own prey please gather around the Hightree for a clan meeting," She nodded and Sunstream and Foxpaw walked up to her. Sunstream jumped onto the Hightree next to her.

"Cats of FeatherClan, as you know, I will not be around forever. So it's time I took an apprentice. I have chosen a cat who has shown great interest in following the path of a medicine cat.Your next medicine cat will be Foxpaw." Sunstream proudly said to the gathered cats around her.

"Foxpaw, do you accept the post of apprentice to Sunstream?" Moonstream asked.

"I do." She replied.

"Then at the half-moon, you must travel to the Moonpool to be accepted by Starclan before the other medicine cats." Sunstream said.

"The good wishes of all FeatherClan will go with you." Moonstream said.

Sunstream and Foxpaw touched noses.

She came out of her den and trotted towards the bramble entrance

"Featherpaw and Berrypaw the entrance needs more brambles,the entrance is getting to open!" "Heatclaw come on a patrol with me" She said as she waited for Heatclaw to get over to the green covered entrance.

Apprentiship of Featherpaw and Berrypaw!

"All cats old enough to catch their own prey please come join under the Hightree for a clan meeting." Scarstar said, "Today Berrypaw and Featherpaw will get their mentors." Both she-cats eagerly jumped onto the Hightree. " Heatclaw, you are now ready to take on an apprentice. You will mentor Berrypaw, and Moonstream my wonderful deputy you shall be mentor for Featherpaw." Both apprentices touched noses with their new mentors."BERRYPAW, FEATHERPAW!" Everyone cheered. She leaped down of the hightree and watched as Featherpaw and Berrypaw began to train and get ready for an assessment

the leader looked around at her growing clan

"Moonstream how did the assessment of the apprentices go?" she said a smile on her face remembering the day SHE and not moonstream had given the two apprentices their apprentice name
